Non Fiction Book Essay Outline

Introduction-

• Should outline what in general your book was about, include key topics

• End with topic sentence that explain that your book can be applied to the four big ideas

Body paragraphs(4)-

• Each paragraph should be about one of the Big Ideas

• State the essential knowledge within the Big Idea you chose that your book relates to

• List aspects of a definition or explanation of the essential knowledge

• List key ways/quotes that relate to the essential knowledge you chose

Conclusion-

• Key ideas to revisit that will tie the essay all together
