Learning Intentions

• We will learn how Bacteria Transformation takes place and the steps that must take place for it to be successful.

• We will learn how to explain the role of a plasmid in Bacteria Transformation and how it can be used to create antibiotic resistant bacteria

• We will learn sterile technique and understand its importance in certain data collection.

• We will learn how to relate results from our lab to use of the pGLO gene in scientific research outside of our classroom

Closing Task:

You can apply what you learn in the lab on a formative assessment to analyze results of an experiment.
