How will you determine concentration of blue dye in Gatorade? What about mass of blue dye? 

Learning Intentions

• We will learn how to create a calibration curve using a number of dilution of a stock solution, determining the transmittance for each dilution and graphing the data to find a relationship between the two.

• We will learn how to design and interpret the results of an experiment regarding the absorption and transmittance of light to determine the concentration of an absorbing species in a solution.
