Wrap up/Launch
In many bird species, particularly shorebirds and waterfowl found in estuaries, there are visible differences between males and females, often referred to as sexual dimorphism. These differences can include size, plumage, and even behavior, though not all species display these variations. In many species, males have more vibrant and often more colorful plumage, particularly during the breeding season. Male ducks like Mallards have more colorful breeding plumage, while females have more muted, camouflaged colors.
