Bubbles Exploration

Measure 1 spoonful of liquid soap into a cup.  Add 50 mL of water.  Swirl the cups to mix.  Dip the straw into the cup, withdraw it, and blow gently into the straw to make the largest bubble you can.  Practice making bubbles until you feel you have reasonable control (precision) over your bubble production.

A. Propose a hypothesis that you will test.  Make it in an If…then… form.

          If this is done, then this will happen.

 

B. Design an experimental set-up that will give you information in order to answer your hypothesis.

3)     What are the variables you need to control?  Remember, the only difference can be the one variable you are testing.
