Learning Intentions

•   You will learn about density, a definition for it, what it can be used for, and how to calculate it for different types of substances.

•   You will learn how to determine the density of a number of known substances by measuring the mass and volume for each sample and calculating density.

•   You will learn how to make predictions of identities of unknown samples based on other physical properties and then calculate densities to test your predictions.
