Learning Intentions

• We will learn how to use the periodic table to identify elements that are metals, nonmetals, metalloids, alkali metals, alkaline earth metals, transition elements, halogen and noble gases.

• We will learn the general properties of elements that are periodic.

Closing Task:

You can color a periodic table to indicate patterns and trends found in the elements of the periodic table.
