• We will learn how your chemist of choice contributed to the science field and/or our world.

Closing Task:

You can research a chemist and create a presentation about them.

Students can use the periodic table as a model to predict the relative properties of elements based on the patterns of electrons in the outermost energy level of atoms.

Student understands why bonding occurs between atoms, what types of bonds form when different elements interact, how the bonds form and properties that arise as result of the bond forming.
