What major concepts did we learn in Chapter 6?

Learning Intentions

• We will learn what you have learned during this chapter.

• We will learn basic functional groups within molecules.

• We will learn how functional groups relate to certain smell categories.

• We will learn the naming patterns found among molecules associated with specific functional groups.

Closing Task:

You can answer questions about concepts from Chapter 6 and then draw a picture to correctly represent each idea you did not answer correctly.
