1) Pick a book if you have not already done so from AP Biology Non Fiction Reading List (you might be able to check a book out from our library even)
if you already have a book bring it for tomorrow to work
2) Start reading and journal 1 page in a new blank notebook after each chapter for Part 1 (If your book has more than 15 chapters you can do a 1 page journal entry after 2 chapters)
Journal writes can be in Cornell note format with part of the page what the book says and the other part thoughts you have about those notes. You can also just free write about what the ideas in the book make you think about, how it relates to your life, connect you make between the ideas and other chapters, things we have studied or your life. The journal is you putting your ideas down after reading in whatever format you feel most comfortable with. It is NOT just a summary of the book.
