HW: Work on analysis questions and conclusion for  AP BIO Lab #5: Cellular Respiration

HW:  Review AP Free Response Question answers and for Quiz and watch Photosynthesis Video or Photosynthesis and Respiration Video and start reading Chapter 10

 

MU: Come in after school review AP BIO Lab #5: Cellular Respiration if you have questions, review AP Free Response Questions above and study for Cellular Respiration Quiz using link above.

 

HW: Work on flashcards for Chapters covered so far and watch AP BIO Lab #4: Photosynthesis Video for Part A from beginning until 2:35 (the rest of the video is for Part B) to understand what you will be doing on Part A of the next lab. You can start pre-lab for tomorrow night (see what needs to be included below)

MU: Review PowerPoint Notes pages above, try to answer questions on Chapter 10 Reading Guide #1-7, do pre-lab for Part A of AP BIO Lab #4: Photosynthesis Lab and watch first 2:35 of AP BIO Lab #4: Photosynthesis Video to understand what you will be doing.

 

HW: Do Pre-Lab for AP BIO Lab #4: Photosynthesis Lab (include objectives, background for part A, area for drawing of set up for part A, data table for part A and analysis questions for part A.) and watch AP BIO Lab #4: Photosynthesis Video for Part A from beginning until 2:35 (the rest of the video is for Part B) to understand what you will be doing.

 

MU: Make a graph of percentage scores vs lab # on the third to last page of your lab notebook, write a reflection about your lab write up progress as explained above, and do HW.

 

HW: Finish calculations and analysis questions for Part A and watch AP BIO Lab #4: Photosynthesis Video for Part B from 2:35 until the end and Part B Walkthrough Video.

MU:  Come in after school to make up Photosynthesis Lab Part A and be sure to have pre-lab done for part A before coming in,

 

 

HW: Do pre-lab for Part B AP BIO Lab #4: Photosynthesis Lab (include purpose question, hypothesis, null hypothesis, procedure and labeled drawing of set up, and data table for collecting data)

MU: Review videos linked above and do pre-lab for Part B.

 

HW:  Work on analysis and conclusion for Part B of AP BIO Lab #4: Photosynthesis Lab

MU: Come in before or after school to collect data for Part B of Photosynthesis Lab and then do analysis and conclusion for the lab.  

 

HW: Finish AP BIO Lab #4: Photosynthesis Lab

 

MU:   Review AP Free Response Released Questions, get questions answered about lab and finish AP BIO Lab #4: Photosynthesis Lab

 

 

HW: Come up with questions about photosynthesis process.

 

MU: Review PowerPoint notes and notes from someone in class, copy diagrams linked above and explore Photosynthesis simulation linked above.

 

HW:  Finish AP BIO Lab #4: Photosynthesis Lab

 

MU: Review PowerPoint notes and animations for C3, C4 and CAM plants as well as AP Biology.

  •         Start reading and journal after each chapter for Part 1(If your book has more than 15 chapters you can do a 1 page journal entry after 2 chapters)

  •         Make index cards for essential knowledge (EK) chosen from each Big Idea (using AP Biology Concept Outline), on back include explanation of EK in your own words and quote from book that demonstrates the EK

  •     Wrap Up/Launch

HW: Pick a Non Fiction Book if you have not already done so and do Part 1 of AP Biology Non Fiction Reading Assignment, watch Cellular Communication Video and Happy Holidays!

MU: Turn in Photosynthesis Lab, Read AP Biology Non Fiction Reading Assignment and review Part 1, pick a book off the AP Biology Non Fiction Reading List, start reading and journal after each chapter, watch Cellular Communication Video.
